Below is an explanation of how Atlas Cloud ehf. collects, stores, and uses information in connection with our services.

  • Company registration number
  • Cloud account number
  • Payment information

Purpose of processing: The information is used to link accounts, contact you, and verify your identity if you call us. We also use email for marketing purposes to announce updates and news.

2. Measurement and Technical Data

To measure usage and invoice accordingly at the end of each month, and to monitor the health and load of our systems, we record:

  • Hours of usage on our virtual machine products.
  • Number of gibibytes (GiB) allocated for disks on virtual machines.
  • Number of gibibytes (GiB) used in object storage (Object Store).

3. Cookies and Network Traffic

Cookies: We use cookies on our website to track interest in the site.

Visits: When visiting our website, we store IP addresses, timestamps, and duration of visits.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We use third parties for the following processes:

Verifone for payment processing, and MailerLite for sending and storing newsletter email lists.

5. Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. We will comply with that request within 30 days. Such a request may affect our ability to provide you with our services.

6. Responsibility and Security (Shared Responsibility Model)

Atlas Cloud Responsibility: We are responsible for the security of the Atlas cloud and our infrastructure.

User Responsibility: You as a cloud user are responsible for the security of the virtual servers you rent. The cloud user is also responsible for storing and managing personal data on Atlas infrastructure, virtual machines, and storage services. This may change if a data processing agreement for personal data is signed with Atlas Cloud. Contact us if you are interested.

7. Changes to Policy

Atlas Cloud ehf. may change this privacy policy and post an updated version on this website. That version will take effect immediately without specific notice.
